Turn on your leg lamps and put your feet up, because "A Christmas Story" is back on TV screens and streaming services just in time for Christmas.
The 1983 comedy directed by Bob Clark remains a Christmas movie mainstay decades later. Set in 1940s Indiana, young Ralphie Parker attempts to convince his parents, teacher and Santa Claus that a Red Ryder Range 200 Shot BB gun really is the perfect Christmas gift.
The movie is based on anecdotes from Jean Shepherd's 1966 book "In God We Trust: All Others Pay Cash," with some other elements included from his 1971 book "Wanda Hickey's Night of Golden Memories and Other Disasters."
Here's what you need to know about how to watch "A Christmas Story" this year, both on television and on streaming platforms before Christmas.
