Indeed, Travis Kelce recently detailed meeting WNBA star Caitlin Clark while attending girlfriend Taylor Swift’s Nov. 2 Indianapolis show on her Eras Tour, and the professional athletes were on the same page when it came to respecting the “Karma” singer’s performance.
“I saw Caitlin Clark there,” Travis told brother Jason Kelce on the Nov. 6 episode of New Heights. “She was into the show for sure. She was there with her mom and a few friends. I think this was like her third or fourth show she had been to. She’s a Swiftie through and through, man. Loves the show.”
Beyond their love for Taylor, Travis detailed more similarities he shares with the Indiana Fever guard.
“She’s awesome,” he continued. “She loves being out there in Indianapolis—says it’s a fun city and we’re both just true Midwesterners to the heart, played high school ball, college ball, pro ball all out here in the Midwest.”
As the Kansas City Chiefs tight end noted, “It was cool catching up with her.”
Meanwhile, Travis—who has attended over a dozen Eras Tour concerts since he first attempted to shoot his shot with Taylor at her July 2023 Kansas City show—detailed his own experience at the recent concert, which may have been his last time being able to see it before the world tour comes to an end in Canada next month.
“I wanted to see Tay one more time before this thing got closed up and I’ll tell you what man, the American crowds—they did not disappoint,” Travis added. “I heard that it was a lot more rowdy this time around, knowing she was coming back to stop through America one last time before the tour was over with, and I’ll tell you what man that thing was rockin.’”
Meanwhile Jason—who most recently attended a Miami Eras Tour show with wife Kylie Kelce and two of his daughters Wyatt, 5, and Elliotte, 3 in October—agreed, adding the Eras Tour is a “good place to go if you’re looking to have fun.”
And while Travis, Jason and even Caitlin have proved themselves to be diehard Swifties, they are not the only stars in awe of the “Fortnight” singer’s performances. Ryan Reynolds, husband of Taylor’s close pal Blake Lively, also recently gushed over the show.
“The main reason I’ll never forget this show is because it brings people together in so many ways,” Ryan effused in a lengthy Nov. 1 Instagram post. “And in 2024, (where that feeling is scarce as hell) it’s a special and incredibly rare thing.”
